The Location

Kizabel is a beautiful hamlet nestled into the mountains just outside the larger village of Uzumlu. It’s a place where the scent of wild thyme and lavender fill the cool summer breeze, and the sound of goats and a neighbouring cockerel replace the noise from the larger resort nightclubs. It’s a place to escape to, popular with those wanting an escape and spend time in nature.

Uzumlu is larger, and just a few minute’s drive from Kizabel. Here you find a good selection of local shops, a post office, a chemist, a weekly market and a handful of decent restaurants including a popular wine house. Uzumlu has a traditional feel yet has also grown in popularity with ex-pats and foreigners that want to spend time in a more rural location.

Dalaman Airport is the closest and a 45-minute transfer from the area, and the beach at Calis and great shopping and nightlife in Fethiye can be reached in around 25 minutes.

BEAUTIFUL STONE VILLA IN KIZABEL

The Ground Floor.

The builder and architect have designed this villa to blend nicely into its natural setting, yet have also made sure it contains all the necessities for modern life. It is of a fairly traditional design, with the main communal living areas on the ground floor and the bedrooms upstairs.

The ground floor is open plan, with lots of room for lounging and dining. Stone columns, wooden flooring, feature stone walls and decor in neutral earth tones complement the space. Patio doors lead to the grounds and poolside, allowing light to enter the room and affording lovely views over the forest and valley.

The kitchen is sleek and modern, located to one side with open sightlines to the rest of the room. There’s plenty of cabinet space, a stone worktop and a modern island ideally for preparing food and cooking up a storm.

The First Floor.

There are 2 generous bedrooms on the first floor. The master is en-suite with a private balcony, and there is a separate family bathroom.
